The Mario Mysteries: Answers

NOTE: Please do not ask for any of the missing answers (although you may send comments).  I do not have time to respond to individual emails about these "mysteries".

"Mario Mystery: Where's Mario? #1" 

Answer:  Mario is in Course 8, inside the pyramid, inside the little building at the bottom of the pyramid (on the pyramid floor), looking back just before the point at which Mario would fall to battle the hands.

"Mario Mystery: Where's Mario? #2" 

Answer:  Mario is in the castle courtyard looking back up at the castle.

"Mario Mystery: Where's Mario? #4" 

Answer:  Mario is in the Dark World.

"Mario Mystery: Huh???" 

Answer:  I don't know exactly what this sign means.  I believe that it is telling you to walk slowly when you are walking in the hallway approaching the castle courtyard.  But, why???  Just to sneak up on the ghost?  But, why??? Perhaps the sign is really just decoration -- or maybe there was a game feature that they didn't have time to finish programming!

Answers:

1. At least 121, counting the one you get from the final Bowser battle.  More if you want to be really tricky about it (like counting every image of a star).

2. I don't have the answer for this one.  Sorry.

3. Luigi is NOT in Super Mario 64.

4. I don't have the answer for this one.  Sorry.

5. You can go through the door until you hear the castle lobby music, then just walk through the wall.  See the "Outside the Castle" page.

6. Don't forget Dire, Dire Docks, the Bowser Puzzle in Lethal Lava Land, and the hallway leading to Bowser 1!  There are obviously other places too.
 
A visitor adds:  I believe there are infinite places where Bowser can be seen because of the endless staircase there are pictures of Bowser on the left side.
